Theology on Tap for Adults (21 to 101 years old) is a program designed to facilitate a relaxed environment where post-college adults can enjoy dinner, a beer, discuss their faith, and listen to a theological talk. We are hoping to touch on deep theological themes like sanctity in a secular age, how to know your vocation, and the significance of the Eucharist.
Our next talk is Wednesday, December 18th at 6pm in the St. Maximilian Kolbe dining hall. It will be led by seminarian Joseph Moreshead, and will be entitled “He Waits for You: the Role of the Blessed Sacrament in the Life of the Christian."
Joseph grew up the oldest of two kids in South Portland, Maine. Right before his freshman year of high school gained an incredible yearning for Christ after being overtaken by an intense, burning joy from the tabernacle while listening to one of the Brothers of Christian Instruction preach on the Eucharist being the literal flesh and blood of Christ. This joy stayed with him and eventually he found that he wanted nothing more than to give his whole life in service to Christ. After attending Fordham University he helped at a homeless shelter, visited the Missionaries of Charity in Calcutta, and ran retreats. He knew he was called to be a priest and is now studying at Theological College in Washington D.C.
