Do you enjoy singing, playing guitar, flute or violin, but are not able to make a weeknight commitment to rehearsal? If you said yes, the Celebration Singers is the group for you. We meet on Sundays at 10:15 AM to prepare music for the 11:00 AM mass. The music list and recordings are sent out via email one month at a time.
Do you play, or have you ever played a wind, string or percussion instrument? St. Bart’s Music Ministry has a place for you! Opportunities to share your talent in liturgy include solo, playing with the choir, and ensemble.
Handchimes have come to St. Bartholomew’s with our new Director of Music Ministry. This wonderful resource provides everyone with an opportunity for all to be musical. Michelle says “this is one of my favorite parts of music ministry as it is a truly generational opportunity. In the past I have grandparents and parents play alongside their children. A rare and beautiful experience in today’s culture!”. No prior music-reading experience is necessary to become a part of this group.
Adult choir is a place you will always be welcomed in Music Ministry at St. Bart’s, whether you have sung in choir before or never sung. The Adult Choir meets from 6:30 to 8:00 on Tuesday evenings and sings weekly at the 9:00 a.m. mass.
